No advertisements before shows. Carefully selected repertoire. Mainly European and author’s productions. Muza [Muse] is a genuine studio cinema. For over 100 years, it has cared about the reputation of the place where the silver screen magic shines with a vivid splendour. The cinema opened in 1908 as “Theater Apollo” has changed its name many times what represents its stormy history: 1910 – “Colosseum” [“Coliseum”], 1934 – “Europa” [“Europe”], 1935 – “Świt” [“Dawn”], 1940 – “Zentral Lichtspiele”, 1945 – “Wolność” [“Freedom”], and since the 1950s – “Muza”, known to all the Poznań residents. Today, the high showing technique quality of three chamber halls combined with the artistic arrangement of the foyer and atmospheric Cafe Muza makes every cinema lover feels here at home.
And when it is already clear that you can easily and cheaply park your vehicle in the near underground car park then the visit to the cinema changes in a nice trip crowned by an emotional meeting with cinema’s stars.
